Boma Yangu is a flagship initiative under Kenya’s government affordable housing project, aiming to provide low-cost, quality housing for Kenyans across all counties. This ambitious program includes a house levy to support construction and access to affordable housing apartments and community housing projects.
From as low as KES 640,000, citizens can own decent housing through various schemes. These low-cost housing projects are currently ongoing in multiple regions, with new units being rolled out regularly under the Affordable Housing Scheme.
Supported by local and international partners including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International, these projects reflect Kenya’s commitment to the right to decent shelter for all.
