This is an adventure story. This book is personal account of how and when Miss Hannah Njoki Kahiga (née Tiagha) and I dared to climb the second highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kenya, only a few months before we sat for the A-level national examinations in 1964.
This book describes the mountaineering geographically, culturally, and socially with a clear background of the religious and political views held by the communities around the mountain. It also acknowledges many of the climbers who previously dared to take and record similar mountaineering adventures.
