The 2024 KCSE exam results were officially announced by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, marking a departure from the usual Nairobi venue. Over 900,000 candidates sat for the exams, with 1,216 students achieving a Grade A. However, some results have been withheld or canceled due to suspected cheating and impersonation cases. Additionally, President William Ruto has ordered an investigation into the 3,000 students who were registered but failed to sit for the exams. This year's grading system was also revised to allow more students to access university opportunities.
